Is Safari worth trying on Windows?

Nope, it's not. But Chrome works pretty well.

I keep it as the second browser. Chrome is far too klunky and eats resources.

I think we peaked with IE3 and Navigator 4. It's been downhill since.

My problem with Chrome is it fails the spyware test.

I always managed to get back my session with 'Restore'. I agree it shouldn't have crashed in the first place.
If you have time and\or patience for this sort of things: a)Review your extensions, plug-ins b) Keep it to minimum for a while
